Healthy Alternatives maintains its reputation as one of the oldest and most popular day spa in Mount Dora. We aim to satisfy our clients by making all our staff update their training often to the best and latest techniques in the industry, so they can provide great satisfaction and well being for our clients.

All our staff went on an intensive training for TENSEGRITY Bodywork, which is a combination of different modalities, i.e., cranio sacral, myofascial release , rolfing, osteopathy, Polarity, Alexander Technique , energy works with meridians, chakras, cranial wave and other modalities which we incorporate in our massages and facials

We use the Osteopathic principles of the unity of mind body and spirit. The body has the inherent ability to be well. By mobilization and manipulation of certain parts of the body, it produces body fluid and substances which is fundamental to our well being.

Experience the shift in consciousness as you receive a facial with a difference as we incorporate occipital release in your scalp massage. Feel the stress melt awayyyyyyyyyyy. Gina who has been in the industry for 13 years specializes in permanent make-up and waxing. Melody who has been with us since we started and very popular to clients specializes in lymphatic drainage. We are a very unique spa in this field Some of our unique treatments, are: Lomi- Lomi (Hawaiian Massage) Bamboo facial, Indian Champissage, Chinese Medicine, Combination of Chemical Peels that works, Hypnosis and Reiki. Most of our graduates from our Training Institute on Hypnosis and Reiki run their own successful businesses. Aida Oliver the owner, is so proud to have beautiful and very friendly staff who are excellent in their own fields.

Our spa offers a very calm and soothing ambiance, no noise of hair dyers, only the soft music coming from all the rooms provided by our surround sound system and the soothing sound of our water fountain. There is no smell of hair coloring chemicals nor nail chemical odors. We are purely a day spa focusing only on calm and relax atmosphere and the well being of our clients. We can accommodate five clients at the same time.

Our business hours are 9:00 to 5:00 everyday but we can accommodate you at any time between 8am to 9pm and even Sundays if you make an appointment. We also run special offers from $49.50 for an hour massage if you buy 6, and $45.00 for an hour facial if you buy 6. You can pay $50.00 at any time for 45 minutes massage of your choice.

We have a very good parking facilities at the back of our property.
